Tribal Groove Belly Dance Classes

Fridays, May 5, 12, 19, 26 • 6:30 pm
$20 per class or all four for $60

Unleash your inner belly dancer! In this party style class, we’ll explore the elements of tribal belly dancing and use them for personal expression. Sign up for one or all of the weekly classes, but hurry — space is very limited for this exclusive opportunity.

You may get hot while you’re in your groove, so wear something comfortable and bring your water bottle! Taught by Diana Ricketts of Drifter Dance Company.

In case you’re wondering….

  • Tribal Groove is for ALL bodies, all ages. Please check with the teacher if you wish to register a child under 13.
  • You don’t have to dress in a certain way or bare your belly for class. Just be sure you’re comfortable and ready to have fun.
  • NO dance or belly dance experience is necessary! The class is designed for beginners but will challenge all skill levels.

What to bring:
A water bottle
A sense of adventure
An open mind

What to expect:
A light aerobic workout
An interactive, social learning experience
An opportunity to honor your body and get to know it better
Possibly, sore muscles the day after, to remind you of your inner Goddess at play

What to wear:
Clothes you’d work out in
An optional hip scarf (can be purchased at the studio)
Bare feet

Pre-requisites:
All bodies, all ages (13 and up suggested)
Should be able to stand and move around for an hour (breaks encouraged)
You won’t be getting down on the floor for this class
